The Team

We would like to introduce you to the team that support Catherine A Williams Ltd to ensure clients of all sizes receive the best possible services and the correct advice on a timely basis.

Catherine Williams, FCA

Cath trained with PricewaterhouseCoopers in 1995, qualifying as a Chartered Accountant in 1998. Cath initially was part of the Audit team and later moved to their Growing Business department. Following this she worked at Wallace Williams Austin for a couple of years where she gained experience of working in a smaller practice and all round client services on a more personal level.

In 2003 Cath set up Catherine A Williams Ltd when she had a young family. Cath has developed and grown her business from a small business based at home, to a two director firm with six other staff members based in Crickhowell. Cath strives to ensure she runs a successful business which has its client's best interests at heart.

Cath has a wealth of knowledge which she draws upon to provide useful and practical advice to clients of all sizes, from ambitious start-ups to larger companies. She specialises in working with Trusts and larger clients and uses her experience to offer succession planning advice.

Cath also organises and leads the Small Practitioners Group based in Crickhowell on behalf of the ICAEW Town and District Society, for a group of local accountants who meet on a regular basis and discuss topical issues.

In her free time Cath enjoys relaxing, spending time in her garden and has an artistic flare for painting and drawing.

Gemma Indge, FCCA

Gemma first started her studies towards her ACCA qualification when she joined the firm in 2007. Having qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant in 2011, Gemma was appointed as a director of Catherine A Williams Ltd in 2016 and is currently expanding her client portfolio. 

Gemma has specialist knowledge in a number of business areas including the preparation of flat management service charge accounts. Using her experience and varied understanding of tax she advises businesses on financial matters of the UK tax system and accounting compliance. Gemma is passionate about delivering excellent service to clients of all sizes.

In her spare time Gemma can be found spending time with her little boy. When he is not keeping her busy she likes to squeeze in some general fitness including walking and running and has taken part in various 10Km and half marathon runs.

Josh Meredith, ACA

Josh joined Catherine A Williams Ltd in 2010 and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in July 2020. Josh uses his breadth of knowledge to work with a wide variety of clients from sole traders to limited companies. Josh has excellent software skills and is able to utlilise and apply them to multiple software programmes. His main responsibilities are to produce accounts for our more complex clients along with preparing VAT Returns and Tax Returns.

Outside of work Josh enjoys walking, cycling and other sports including snooker and football.

Susannah McIntosh

Susannah joined the team in 2012 having been in retail banking for 19 years and now holds her ICAEW certificate in Finance, Accounting and Business. Susannah has a broad range of experience covering all areas relating to accountancy and tax, supporting clients across the firm.

Outside of work Susannh enjoys going to Motorsport events with her son and can often be found undertaking DIY projects at home. 

Aimee Wilsher

In July 2022 Aimee joined the team and became our payroll manager. Prior to joining us Aimee was working as an office manager in the insurance industry. Aimee has experience working with varied payroll schemes from small businesses to the larger more complex Companies. Aimee's responsibilities cover all aspects of the payroll process for our clients including administering the auto enrolment pension schemes. 

Out of the office Aimee enjoys travelling and is often jetting off somewhere nice.

Lesley Evans, MAAT

Lesley became a member of the team in September 2021. Lesley's main area of responsibility is to provide a superb book keeping service to our clients using Xero and VT Transaction plus. Lesley also assists with accounts preparation.

Outside of work Lesley enjoys spending time with her family and is a keen dog lover.

Michael Dando

After a five-year stint in the army, Michael studied History at the University of Sheffield before joining the team in September 2023 as a Trainee Chartered Accountant. He is currently working towards his ACA qualification and has gained experience working with a variety of sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.

In his spare time, Michael enjoys playing golf and going on holiday.

Oliver Sims

Oliver joined the team in June 2023 and works in a variety of areas predominantly assisting with accounts preparation and tax returns. Oliver uses his strong IT skills with a variety of software packages and to support his colleagues.

Outside of work, Ollie enjoys watching football and walking his dog.

Anne Ward

Anne joined the team in April 2024 as our Office Administrator. Anne has over 12 years secretarial and administrative experience in the finance industry. She supports the team with all our administration and has excellent IT and organisational skills.

Outside of work Anne is a keen photographer and loves to walk and run in the mountains.
