Cloud Based Accounting Software

Recently there has been an increase in popularity in the use of cloud based accounting software providing clients with instant access to their accounting information. Accountants and clients can both view and discuss accounting information without the need to be in the same location.

Key features of Cloud Based Accounting software include:

• Invoices can be raised by clients at their customer premises and emailed directly to them

• Purchase invoices and expenses receipts can be uploaded directly into the software whilst on the move 

• Bank feeds provide direct links to business bank accounts, feeding directly into the software reducing data entry

These facilities are available as a result of customer demand by those running businesses and their need for information to be to hand in an instant.

Our practice works with multiple cloud based software packages, the main ones include Xero, QuickBooks, FreeAgent and Sage One. We are flexible and work with you and your preferences. We are happy to provide a book keeping service on digital cloud based software which you have access to on the software of your choice. Alternatively you could use the software and we review the information periodically for management and accounting information.

Standalone Software

An alternative to cloud based accounting is the use of standalone software. We use our in-house software, VT Transaction+. We can use this in a variety of ways either as a one off for your annual accounts preparation or quarterly VAT Returns and provide you with quarterly management information. Alternatively clients can also use the standalone software in their business and provide periodic backups for the production of management and accounting information. VT Transaction+ is also Making Tax Digital compliant.

Our practice also has experience in working with industry specific software such as that used in the motor trade.

Look no further, we use Bright Pay Connect which can offer this. Employees simply log in and access their own payslips as and when they want and all historic information is available.
